Membership Duties
All members are asked to volunteer for club duties.
Please indicate your preference, at least 1 per adult:
1. Patrol boat
2. Beach
3. Race hut
4. Bar
5. Social events
6. Coffee mornings
7. General clubhouse maintenance
8. Luggers
IMPORTANT To comply with Data Protection Regulations all members must agree to the following:
* I/We consent to Beer Sailing Club holding Member’s information in accordance with the Club’s GDPR Policy
* I/We consent to photographs and videos of all Members being used in accordance with the Club’s GDPR Policy
Membership Fees*
Adult
Junior - under 18, junior members must be linked to the adult membership of a parent/guardian
Visitor Family plus 1 dinghy per week
Boat Fees includes race fee, boat storage and winch use
Standard dinghy e.g. Laser, Feva, RS800
Lugger or Multihull (Hobie Cat etc)
Any additional dinghy if standard dinghy already paid
Junior (under 18) Standard Dinghy
Rowing boat up to 4m, no engine/motor, no fishing gear
Kayak / Paddleboard
Annual club boat usage
Members may bring a guest to a club event on an occasional basis, dependent on availability – please see Club Rules and event flyers for details.
Members are required to submit a photograph, or detailed description, of their boat/kayak/paddleboard and to display a valid sticker. Please fill in your boat details (if applicable):
I declare that I hold valid and current insurances for my dinghy/rowing boat/kayak/paddle board with cover for third party claims up to £3,000,000, in accordance with EDDC Regulations, and that I will continue to hold these insurances whilst a member of Beer Sailing Club. Details as follows:
Declaration: The above named apply for membership of Beer Sailing Club and if accepted agree to abide by the Club Rules which are displayed in the Clubhouse (copy available on request), and impliedly accept that:
(i) Beer Sailing Club will not accept any liability for any damage to or loss of property belonging to members, their guests or visitors to the club.
(ii) Before inviting guests or visitors onto the premises or to participate in events organised by the club, members will draw their attention to these rules and conditions.
